Atari ROMs? Help Plz?
I kind of felt like downloading an Atari emulator. There are games I want to try out for all three of them. DO I have to download them all or can I just play with just one Atari emulator?
All three of what? I mean you don’t need more than one emulator for a particular Atari system. There are different Ataris though and they have different hardware, just because they are the same brand doesn’t mean they have anything in common. Different software is needed to emulate different Ataris as much as any different systems. There are emulators for Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Atari ST, Atari Jaguar, and Atari Lynx at least. The actual Atari 7800 was backwards compatible with 2600 so I dunno if the emulator would support them (and there was a 2600 adapter for the 5200), but it would most likely be best to use one particular to the game for best compatibility.
