Where or how can I get this game?
Henry’s House was a platform game released for the Atari 65XE and 800XL around 1988-1990. I have found this game on ebay but in it’s original format. My question is, does anyone know if this is available for the PC anywhere or if not does anyone know if it is at all possible to get the game converted from it’s original form to PC compatible.
Its sad but I really loved this game growing up and would love to get retro with it again without buying the original game system, all help is greatly appreciated.

Atari Games Shot Glass 6-Pack $15.99 Shot glasses are a strange animal. We’re pretty sure that people who own shot glasses fall into two camps, the first being enthusiastic drinkers who bought their own shot glasses so they could “do it right” and the second being folks who received novelty shot glasses as a gift because someone else thought they’d appreciate the artwork. This explains why some of us grew up in houses without any hard liquor but with plenty of cutesy shot glasses with pictures of leprechauns that haunted our sleep and… nevermind. Back in the day, you claimed your spot as next in line at the arcade by slapping your quarter down. But now that you’re of drinking age, you can flip those quarters into shot glasses and claim your drink! This set of 6 shot glasses include graphics from six retro Atari arcade games: Asteroids, Centipede, Pong, Breakout, Missile Command and Battle Zone. A color-coordinated Atari logo is on the flip side. Pour a perfect shot of your favorite beverage into each glass and have a toast with your five closest buddies before challenging them to a game of whatever it is you crazy kids* are playing these days. * By “crazy kids” we mean, you young people who are at least 21 years of age. Naturally. |

Atari Arcade Pint 4-Pack $29.99 Close your eyes and think about the local arcade you frequented as a kid. If it was anything like ours, the downstairs was full of kiddie games, the ball pit, the ski ball lanes, and that unlucky guy in the fursuit who you kicked on your way to the concession stand. (If you were the guy in the fursuit, we’re sorry. But you gotta admit, you were asking for it.) Upstairs, far away from the eyes and ears of the wee kiddies, that was where the real action was. That’s where the real games were. It was dark and dank and smelled like a bouquet of Coca-Cola, popcorn, and preteen B.O. Your feet stuck to the floor and your pockets jingled with a dozen quarters. Those were the days! Relive the best days of your life, the days when pure joy was just a high score away and you could save the world for a mere twenty-five cents. This set of four pint glasses features artwork from four classic Atari games: Asteroids, Centipede, Tempest, and Missile Command. Drink your orange juice at breakfast with Asteroids, enjoy a cold refreshing soda at lunch with Centipede, and then throw back a couple brews with your Player 2 in the evening with Tempest and Missile Command. It may not be the old days, but life is still pretty damn good. |

Atari Wall Decals $44.99 Millions of years ago, if a geek wanted to play videogames, he had to take a pocketful of quarters to the mall where darkened rooms filled with 6-foot-tall cabinets bleeped and blooped in glowing 8-bit goodness. Before we measured the quality of our games in voxels, we had to use our imaginations and believe that jagged white lines were massive hurtling asteroids, and that a triangle was your intrepid starship attempting to navigate the void. We fantasized that a simple white line was Bjorn Borg, and that a single pixel of light was a tennis ball being smashed at Jimmy Connors’ racket, or that shooting the head of a centipede would turn it in into a mushroom. The Elder Gods of the Internet call that era back in the day. It was a day of wonder – where bits were downloaded at a blistering three-hundred per second, hard-drives were the size of small Eastern-European cars, and digital watches were a pretty neat idea. The Elder Gods look upon those days fondly, and look for ways to remind themselves of those heady days when you could hack a telephone with a cereal box whistle. So, in an effort to bring a little bit of the past into the present day, these vinyl decals were created to turn any wall into a gigantic representation of the classic Atari videogames Asteroids, Centipede or Pong. Just peel and stick and you can relive those ancient and halcyon days of whooping flying saucers, spinning potentiometers as controllers, and falling fleas that fart fungus. |

Racing the Beam: The Atari Video Computer System $19.48 The Atari Video Computer System dominated the home videogame market so completely that "Atari" became the generic term for a videogame console. The Atari VCS was affordable and offered the flexibility of changeable cartridges. Nearly a thousand of these were created, the most significant of which established new techniques, mechanics, and even entire genres. This book offers a detailed and accessible study of this influential videogame console from both computational and cultural perspectives. Studies of digital media have rarely investigated platforms–the systems underlying computing. This book (the first in a series of Platform Studies) does so, developing a critical approach that examines the relationship between platforms and creative expression. Nick Montfort and Ian Bogost discuss the Atari VCS itself and examine in detail six game cartridges: "Combat, Adventure, Pac-Man, Yars’ Revenge, Pitfall , " and "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back." They describe the technical constraints and affordances of the system and track developments in programming, gameplay, interface, and aesthetics. "Adventure, " for example, was the first game to represent a virtual space larger than the screen (anticipating the boundless virtual spaces of such later games as "World of Warcraft" and "Grand Theft Auto"), by allowing the player to walk off one side into another space; and "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" was an early instance of interaction between media properties and video games. Montfort and Bogost show that the Atari VCS–often considered merely a retro fetish object–is an essential part of the history of video games. "Platform Studies series" |
